Shared HVAP’s best practices in KM Fair

The International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) had organized a Knowledge Fair with the theme of “collective actions for agriculture development and sharing of farmers experiences, project supports and success stories”at hotel Himalaya Kathmandu on 13 Oct. 2014 where 5 diverse IFAD funded projects (i.e. Western Uplands Poverty Alleviation Project (WUPAP), Leasehold Forestry and Livestock Programme (LFLP), Poverty Alleviation Fund Project (PAF), High Value Agriculture Project in Hill and Mountain Areas (HVAP) and Kisankalagi Unnat Biu-Bijan Karyakram) and their beneficiaries (project staff and selected farmers) were invited to take their participation. The purpose of the event was to share experiences of IFAD investment and regional grant projects – successes, challenges and opportunities – amongst the country team as well as with key stakeholders, including select government officials, in order to provide visibility as well as garner appreciation for the efforts made.
