HVAP tops the innovations list

The tablet based MIS being implemented by the High Value Agriculture Project in Hill and Mountain Areas (HVAP) was voted the best innovation in the Knowledge Conclave on Good Practices in M&E and Knowledge Management from IFAD Projects in Bhutan, India, Nepal & Sri Lanka being held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha from 15-18 December 2013. The conclave was organised by Odisha Tribal Empowerment and Livelihoods Programme (OTELP).

 



Other innovations getting the most votes were Reuters Market Light (RML) being implemented by Integrated Livelihood Support Project from Uttarakhand, Vegetable Value Chain (farm road based) of Market Access and Growth Intensification Project (MAGIP) from Bhutan, and innovations from Post-Tsunami Sustainable Livelihoods Programme for the Coastal Communities of Tamil Nadu, and OTELP.

 



The conclave brought together the M&E and knowledge management practitioners from the IFAD projects in the India, Bhutan and Nepal, sowing the seeds of a "Himalayan Hub" for the IFAD projects in Bhutan, India and Nepal.
