HVAP participated in and partly sponsored the second mid-western cottage and small industry fair organised by Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries from 5–13 March in Birendranagar, Surkhet.
The fair showcased more than 150 stalls of various cottage and small industry products from 15 districts of Mid-Western Development Region including an agriculture pavilion sponsored by HVAP in coordination with District Agriculture Development Office. The agriculture pavilion displayed agricultural products produced by the farmer cooperatives supported by HVAP and other agencies.
HVAP also provided information about the project, its approach, working mechanism, and other project related information through its stall in the fair. As the project is finalising the expressions of interest received from the farmer cooperatives and agribusinesses, the fair was a perfect forum to disseminate the project status and clarify the queries of interested potential beneficiaries. The fair also helped to attract the attention of the possible beneficiaries of the project.
