A two days Market Information System (MIS) Training was conducted by AEC-FNCCI/HVAP on 23-24 February 2013 at Birendranagar, Surkhet. The training aimed at making the participants acquainted with technology and data collection methods, and planning for effective dissemination of MIS.
Thirteen participants from seven District Chambers of Commerce and Industries (DCCIs) of Surkhet, Dailekh, Salyan, Jajarkot, Achham, Kalikot and Jumla districts were oriented on the online MIS system. The DCCI plans prepared for further implementation were upgraded during the training. The major tools used in the training were computer based audio-visual materials and online MIS operation. Ms Shiela Thapa and Mr Anil Maharjan from AEC/FNCCI, and Mr Keshav Karki and Mr Madhuwan Shrestha from AEC/HVAP facilitated the training.
